In a world of omnipresent media, it is so refreshing to have a venue such as DC Shorts that curates, cultivates and celebrates quality storytelling year after year. I applaud Jon Gann for creating and nurturing an entertaining gem of a festival that treats filmmakers and audiences with great respect and to great film.

Jon runs a really wonderful festival for both filmmakers and audience. Great selection of shorts and a lot of fun parties. And the thetares and projection have always been top notch, which is a nice change from some festivals I could name.

I have worked with the DC Shorts Film Festival before, and with Jon Gann. I think it is the most comprehensive and impressive film festival I've ever participated in. I wish him the best in the future & hope that he continues to impress and improve the belief in what a true short film festival can be.
